Anybody know how to figure out how much hard drive space each aips file is taking up? I can look in the DATA directory, but all the names are written in code there. It would be so much nice if there was an actual aips command.

I just found the disku command. It's very helpful. You can get it to show individual file sizes or the entire contents.

Do you know what a "block" is? DISKU in my AIPS is currently giving the file sizes in terms of blocks.
That's what I don't know....
These are 512 byte blocks I'm pretty sure.
I got to that when running freespac (which shows you the amount of free space on each disk in terms of these blocks).
